The Maples Course, was built by Ed Seay and Ellis Maples in 1971 and is described by many golfers as one of the most challenging and beautiful in the Southeast, with lush Bermuda greens and fairways winding gracefully around the lake. From 2021-2023 Golf Architect Kris Spence, renowned Donald Ross and Ellis Maples expert, completed a full restoration and rebuild. Woodlake truly provides the perfect setting for the ultimate golf experience. It is located just 20 minutes from the historic village of Pinehurst. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner taking your first swing, the Maples Course provides an unparalleled experience.
